Another new project for Scarlett: ComingSoon.Net reports that according to Production Weekly (Monday, July 19) she will star for 'Boys Don't Cry'-director Kimberly Peirce and Columbia Pictures in 'Silent Star'.
The film was written by Larry Gross. A former actor, Taylor became a director at Paramount, helming Mary Pickford in Johanna Enlists and the teenage beauty Mary Miles Minter in "Jenny Be Good." In 1917 he became president of the Motion Picture Directors Association; by 1922 Paramount had made him head of his own production unit. On the night of Feb. 2, 1922, Taylor was found dead in his mansion. Rumors flew about the killer's identity and motive -- most of the rumors centered on Taylor's lovers, including Minter and Mabel Normand. Neither were formal suspects but both allegedly saw Taylor shortly before his death.
In the meantime, Mission Impossible 3 may be in trouble: Joe Carnahan (director) dropped out - and now they've got to find a new one!

Many news reports said that Woody Allen wasn't pleased when Kate Winslet pulled out of his new movie. But according to the Daily Mail (July 2) he understands her decision. He told Kate: "Please don't lose any sleep over this. Life is full of real problems; this is merely a showbiz one." And what does Ms Winslet think of her replacement? "Kate said she thought Ms Johansson would be "completely brilliant"." Last Monday (July 12) Scarlett arrived at London Heathrow Airport (see pictures) and was already on set soon after that (see pictures).
Added 2 scans from Empire Australia, June issue. Scarlett won: she was named 'Best International Actress' in the issue. scans.
I've added quite some articles. But please forgive me, I don't feel like listing which ones. Maybe another time
And thanks to lelo we've got the interview (8 minutes!!) at Jay Leno. Thank you so much!(video)
Amelie sent me some unpublished pictures (see). More pictures from her to follow..
And 2 pictures that were in the 'miscellanous scans' section are actually GAP Ads. That's not the only thing that's changed at the gallery. I've re-organised the magazine section. The scans & images are no longer sorted by year but by publication name. I've also created a new section: Candids. There you'll find all the 'paparazzi-like' pictures of Scarlett. Any feedback of the re-organization is welcome.
