Scarlett Johansson has been contacted by politician/ global warming activist Al Gore in order to promote his upcoming “Live Earth” performance. Scarlett was first requested by the environmental philanthropist during a ten-day visit to Asia with charity Oxfam earlier this year. The climate-change events are scheduled 7 July and will include performances from Madonna among other artists in major cities like London, Rio de Janeiro, Sydney and Tokyo.
